ALEXANDER MILANOVICH - BRONZE

Alexander Milanovich became Team Canada's final swimming medallist at Buenos Aires 2018, after racing to bronze in the men's 50 breaststroke. 


The Canadian touched the wall in 27.87 seconds, finishing just 0.02s behind China's Jiajun Sun. The event's victor was Michael James from South Africa (27.51s).


With only a one race break to recover and get back in the pool, Milanovich joined his teammates Madison Broad, Joshua Liendo and Kyla Leibel for the 4x100m mixed medley. 


The team finished 7th overall.   


Swimming Canada's squad captured a total of three medal at Buenos Aires 2018.
